On 2 February 2021, a Central African Police Chiefs' Committee (CAPCCO) delegation visited the Dibamba Trucker Accommodation constructed and run by the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC). Headquartered in Yaounde, CAPCCO is out to check trans-border crime and to help ease movement along the corridors. The delegation, which was led by Congolese-born Koua Michel, CCPAC Permanent Secretary, comprised Mr. Louis-François Ovono, Secretary General of the Cameroon Association of Land Transporters (GTTC) and many other police chiefs. At the end of the visit, Mr. Koua Samuel said he was amazed to see the services and security that the facility offers to truckers waiting to go on the Douala-Bangui, Douala -Ndjamena corridors.

Before visiting the Centre, the CAPCCO delegation had a working session with the CNSC General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, flanked by his closest collaborators. " CAPCCO, which is in charge of cross-border security, is working to combat crime in the sub-region", Mr. Koua Samuel explained. "Within the framework of our mission to conduct inspections and train road corridor actors, we have come to seek the assistance of the CNSC, which is one of the key actors in cross-border trade," he continued. Taking the floor in turn, the CNSC General Manager said he was satisfied with the working visit. "The CNSC hereby undertakes to provide you with all its expertise and experience in the area of training," he promised as CNSC’s contribution to the nascent collaborative initiative.
